Music
St Mark's has a talented group of musicians and choristers within the Church Family and they play a prominent role in our worship.
The choir sings at the 9am Sunday Service and at Evensong, as well as most of the services held to commemorate the major Christian Festivals. It also has a regular commitment to sing Evensong at Rochester Cathedral in the summer. David Gurney is the church's organist.
At the 10:30am Sunday service, worship is led by a music group featuring keyboard, guitars and trumpet, accompanied by excellent singers. They lead a mix of traditional and contemporary worship songs.
Both the choir and the music group welcome new members so please feel free to approach them if you would like to get involved.
