St Mark's School

School ProspectusSt Mark’s Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is our parish school, founded in 1872.  It is a friendly and caring school: one in which is it possible to know every child, from the youngest to the oldest.   The school gives a high priority to Christian values which permeate the curriculum. Social, moral and spiritual education is very important.  The school seeks to always put the needs of its children first.

The church liaises regularly with the school, leading weekly Collective Worshp, supporting the RE curriculum and hosting annual school services at the church for Harvest, Easter and Christmas, as well as a Leavers Service in July.

In a recent Ofsted Inspection the school has been graded good in every category.

Robin Dungate has been Head Teacher since September 2011.
