Meet the church team


Previously, Peter worked as a speech writer in the House of  Lords and as a tutor training clergy in the Church of England. His PhD is in the Preaching of the Early Church. In his spare time, he likes to try and play board games with his wife and two children.


Office Manager
Previously, Nicky worked at Rothschild in the City as a fund manager assistant, she also travelled to the USA to work for a year in a family setting. Nicky enjoys sports with her family in her spare time.


Youth Leader
Laurent is married to Nina and they have two children together. When not at St Mark's, he works for a Christian charity that teaches RE in different local schools. He enjoys reading, technology and spending time with his family. Despite appearances, he is not in fact Canadian.


Children and Safeguarding
Pam is a retired optometrist having worked for two independent family groups for 40 years. Married to John at St Mark’s in 1983, they have two grown-up daughters. Pam enjoys gardening, photography and family time.


Music Director & Ministry Assistant
Previously a choral scholar with Kings College London Chapel Choir and later trained with the opera school of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She worked as a freelance singing tutor. In her free time she enjoys travelling, photography and cross-stitch.


Pastoral Care
Having  lived in Tunbridge Wells and worshipped at St Mark’s Church for many years, Pat has over time been involved with young people and all aspects of pastoral and bereavement care. She enjoys spending time with her family, singing, reading and visiting the theatre.


Welcome Team and Pastoral Care
Jennie is a retired teacher who taught maths in local schools for forty years.  She is married to Paul and they have two grown up children and five grandchildren. She enjoys reading, walking, visiting historical buildings and spending time with her family.


Children and Young Mums
Susanna works part time in Tunbridge Wells, and is married to the Vicar.  They have two sons. Church, family and work keep Susanna pretty busy, but she has been trying to learn tennis in the last year, which she is enjoying.


PCC Secretary
Liz works as a management consultant and coach, and enjoys spending time with her daughter.


Home Groups
Andrew is married to Rosalind and they have three young boys which keep them busy. He also works as a tax advisor for a major accounting firm and enjoys mountains and gardening in his spare time.


Toddler Group Leader
Kate used to work as an English teacher at a boys' school in London and is now a stay at home mother of one. She is married to Patrick and loves reading the newspaper when she gets the chance!
